West Coast Outdoor Weather 11-25-2015  A ridge of high pressure will be in place over the West Coast for much of this coming weekend so the West Cascades of Washington  can expect dry conditions.  The Northern Sierra can expect dry conditions for Saturday with chance of showers for late on Sunday with best chance for the evening but more likely snow for Monday.
How about this coming week starting 11-30-2015?   The Washington Cascades will continue with the dry pattern for Monday and during the day on Tuesday. Then for Tuesday night and into Wednesday chance of some precipitation with snow levels at 6000 feet.
The Northern Sierra will have a trough of low pressure over the region for Monday (11-30) through Wednesday (12-2) so there will be chance of moderate to heavy snow over this period.  Models suggests storm totals for this period of 30 to 40 inches of snow (cumulative) at 5500 to 6000 foot level. However models have been somewhat inconsistent with this so lower confidence in this forecast but certainly worth monitoring it.
