When it comes down to it, the Seattle Sports Co. AquaSto Water Keg 8L is a simple water keg. If you’re looking for a small compact answer for your camper or car trips, this is the one. The keg collapses down to the size of your hand and can be stowed in a drawer. Coming in at 2.5oz (without water) this super lightweight keg holds up to 8 liters of water and offers a screw off spigot for easy filling.
I carried the BPA & PVC free keg around in the car for a couple of weeks and the thick plastic held up extremely well against bumps, cuts and any punctures. One of my key concerns was that the keg could potentially make the water taste like plastic. After drinking multiple liters, there was not one hint of a plastic taste! If you’re looking to take the keg out on hot days, you can freeze the water inside the keg to keep it cold throughout the day. Just make sure to fill it only about half way (4 liters) to allot for the expansion of water. Another aspect I was pleased with was the ability to use a handheld water pump to fill the keg, so if you were out on a backpacking trip, you could easily take the keg along to fill up for camp use.

Overall, I was extremely pleased with the durability of the the AquaSto Water Keg and its ability to fit into any pack for long and short trips. I would definitely purchase this product for any camping trips; backpacking, car camping or for an RV.
