Pat McCullough: Pat grew up in the south. He spent his childhood hunting, fishing, and backpacking with family and friends. After graduating high school, he joined the Air Force and spent 20 years, mostly outdoors. During his time in the Air Force, he developed a love of backpacking and the mountains. After retiring in 1997, he moved to Seattle. He has spent the last twelve years enjoying the pacific northwest backpacking with friends. He continues to test and evaluate techniques and equipment to achieve the lightest backpacking experience possible.
