Liz Forster is a senior at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She studies Environmental Policy and Journalism and hopes to have a career in environmental journalism. Liz grew up in southwestern Connecticut, but spent a large portion of her childhood in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. With two vastly different but equally beautiful backyards, Liz cultivated a love for hiking, backpacking, skiing, and overall outdoor adventure early on in her life and continues to pursue those passions in Colorado Springs and throughout the West. Fun facts: Liz’s favorite season is fall, she loves roadtrips, she lives with five boys, and her favorite book is The Snow Leopard by Peter Matthiessen.
