Remains of Skier Found

According to the Seattle Times, skier remains found Saturday are thought to be those of a skier lost since December. Friends of lost backcountry skier, 43-year-old Monty Busbee, found human remains in the area where Busbee went missing in December. The friends went looking for their lost friend on Saturday and the skier remains were found in the Kendall Tree area near Snoqualmie Pass.

The friends notified King County Sheriff’s Office and the remains were remanded to the county medical examiner.  At this time the cause of death is unknown.  Busbee was a Maple Valley, Wash., resident and experienced skier.  King County Search and Rescue had conducted an exhaustive search for Busbee at the time of his disappearance.
