Though buying any sort of kid carrier is an investment that is best made with first-hand experience trying them on, the Deuter Kid Carriers fit most people well. At 5’3”, I set it to it’s lowest shoulder strap setting and it can easily accommodate the 6’ something hiker as well. Like all Deuter packs, it is well thought-out, clearly with outdoor families in mind! We give the Deuter Kid Carrier II two thumbs up!
