When we hit Outdoor Retailer, we are looking for the gear that is going to help families get outside better together. While I always wish they had a section of Outdoor Retailer for kids, we managed to dig deep enough to find some real treasures. Though buying any sort of kid carrier is an investment that is best made with first-hand experience trying them on, the Deuter Kid Carriers fit most people well. At 5’3”, I set it to it’s lowest shoulder strap setting and it can easily accommodate the 6’ something hiker as well.
