In about 0.5 miles you will cross Ellen Creek. This wide stream is currently deep and fast-moving due to heavy rain, but there is a large, sturdy log that serves as an excellent bridge.
Embark on an adventure along the rugged Olympic coast as you hike south from Third Beach to Oil City. This trail is for the adventurous only: it involves harrowing ladder climbs, planning, and precise tide timing to pass around dangerous headlands.
