The Nemo Tenshi is a well build and a cleverly designed tent. The materials used are top notch and the craftsmanship is an A+. It inspires confidence for use as a shelter in an alpine setting. If inclement weather should set it my first concern would not be this tent as a suitable shelter. I am happy to add it to my gear and look forward to many years of faithful service.
Brooks Range has outdone themselves with this new offering for Summer 2014. I was a little afraid to take this featherweight (weighing in at barely four pounds) out in the late fall in the northwest. It rains a little out here.
However, after my first night out with the Easton Rimrock 2P tent, I came to realize how far tent technology has come in the last five years, and started to think that maybe it was time to retire my stained, patched, heavy old friend to backyard campouts/car camping.
Brooks Range calls it a Quick Tent, but without a floor, dedicated poles, zippers, and a mesh enclosure I find it hard to call this a tent. I prefer the term shelter. There is room to sit up inside and plenty of room for two people or one person and two packs and then you can still cook inside too.
