Each case also comes with an HD Screen protector and a cleaning cloth. The buttons are textured, making them very simple to manipulate in low visibility conditions. The silence switch is easy to access, as are the power and audio ports. From the front, the Maverick and Scout cases look identical. However, the Maverick is a clear-backed case while the Scout is solid black.
The Maverick weighs in at a svelte 41 grams and the Scout comes in at 46 grams.

The extra cost of the UAG cases gets you an HD Screen protector, a cleaning cloth and the MIL STD 810G 516.6 drop test standard. Coupled with easy button and port use, the Scout and Maverick are great options to protect your iPhone. After many weeks of use, the case has some very light superficial scratches.
