West Coast Outdoor Weather- 10-15-2015.  This  weekend outdoor weather for the West Coast will start off with a trough of low pressure and associated cold front moving into the Washington Cascades and Olympics to spread precipitation to the region on Saturday.  For the  24 hour  period ending Sunday morning precipitation totals should at 0.50 inches in water equivalent. Although the Olympics should have higher amounts. Another system moves into the Washington Cascades and Olympics on later on Sunday and Monday.
For the Northern Sierra (Lassen Peak and north)  chance of precipitation  late Saturday or early Sunday. Perhaps some thundershowers as well.
Looking at the extended forecast by Wednesday 10-21 (see map below) shows a ridge of high pressure off the California coast so dry conditions prevail there. However chance of some precipitation for the Washington Cascades.
