West Coast Outdoor Weather 11-5-2015  We can expect a trough of low pressure and cold front to move into the Washington Cascades on Saturday and Sunday to bring some moderate precipitation on Saturday with lighter amounts on Sunday. Saturday amounts will be close to 2 inches in water equivalent and then up to 0.50 inches in water equivalent for Sunday. There will initially be higher freezing levels early on Saturday so rain at 6000 feet and below. However by later Saturday and into Sunday snow levels drop to 3500 to 4500 feet. Thus weekend snowfall totals up to foot at 4500 to 5000 feet for some West Cascades locations and perhaps more at Mt. Baker.
How about the Sierra? The trough moves in later on Sunday and Monday to bring some mountain snow.  Some models suggest a foot of snow at 6500 over this period for Lake Tahoe and Mammoth areas and perhaps higher totals more .
