An avid backpacker and photographer, Kelsie Donleycott's love of the wilderness began at an early age while growing up on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State. For over a decade she has been exploring the Pacific Northwest and has a special fondness for the Olympic Peninsula where she frequents both the mountain and coastal regions of Olympic National Park. Having completed the Wonderland Trail around Mount Rainier in 2011, Kelsie daydreams often about long-distance hikes and hopes one day to hike the Appalachian Trail. Through photography and written word she aspires to convey her passion for the wilderness while possibly, in some small way, inspiring others to discover similar feelings.
